Australian Breath Treatment - Online or Clinic
Australian Breath Clinic has been treating bad breath and halitosis since 1997.. Dr Speiser (the clinical director of the clinic) has been able to develop both a "Treatment at the Clinic" as well as a "Treatment on the Website". Treatment at our Clinic
All Australian Breath Clinic packages are based around the uniqueness of our Halicheck Chromograph. This is a specialised gas chromography device that can smell bad breath particles in quantities down to 1 part bad breath gas per 1 billion parts of air. This is up to one hundred times more sensitive than the human nose. All Halicheck readings must be done in a static state. This means for four hours before the appointment you must; refrain from eating, do not clean your teeth, do not wear any perfumes or aftershaves, do not chew any gums or mints, do not use any mouthwash. The machine is extremely sensitive and will pick up chemicals from all of these activities that may affect your reading. You may drink water if you are thirsty.
1. Halicheck only -10 minutes. This test is performed by a Breath Clinic Consultant. The Consultant will be able to give you a graphical printout of your bad breath gases and offer you advice on our product range. If your readings are high, then a Breath Consultation with one of our Breath Clinic Dentists may be recommended. You will need to attend our clinic for the test, but you do not need to be in the dental chair.
2. Full Breath Consultation - 60 minutes. This test is performed by Dr Speiser at the Sydney Clinic or a Breath Clinic Dentist at any other clinic, The consultation is a full examination of your breath. It begins with a Halicheck. While the reading is formulating, we will check the acid levels of your saliva before and after eating to determine if this is impacting your breath. You will fill in a detailed questionnaire, that will provide valuable information to the trained breath dentist. These results are then combined with a Clinical Examination where the dentist will examine you for gum disease, oral hygiene cleaning, and any other clinical tests deemed necessary. This is the core treatment that has been so successful for Australian Breath Clinics, where currently we have over a 90% success rate.
3. Full Breath Consultation & Dental Exam. This test is performed by Dr Speiser at the Sydney Clinic or a Breath Clinic Dentist at any other clinic, and includes all of the above but we add a full dental exam. A lot of people are not regular attendees to the dentist, and therefore feel that if they are going to attend us, they may as well get as much done as possible rather than come back later. A full Dental Exam is not necessary for Bad Breath Diagnosis, but it is going to help you avoid a toothache, avoid gum disease, or maybe help you cosmetically enhance your teeth. Each clinic will have their own protocol how they perform their dental exams.
4. Full Breath Consultation & dental Exam & Hygiene Cleaning. This test is performed by Dr Speiser at the Sydney Clinic or a Breath Clinic Dentist at any other clinic. Again includes all of the above but we add a full hygiene clean to the regime we will perform. The clean may not be necessary to diagnose your breath problem, but in general most patients do have areas in their mouth that trap biofilm and needs removal. Usually this option will be spread over a few appointments to ensure that everything is performed correctly and to an extremely high professional level.

Obviously if you select treatment from our website we do not physically get to see you as a patient. So the amount of information we can collect about you is limited. However over many years, Dr Speiser has developed an online treatment protocol that still achieves extremely high success rates. It is important that you take the time to read all the information that Dr Speiser sends you, as our treatment involves you changing your lifestyle, changing your cleaning methods, and using our probiotic products in a set regime. As Bad Breath is multi factorial, we need to treat all areas of the mouth and throat. Remember our treatment is not just a mouthwash, but a full detox, balance and probiotic protection program.
1. Bad Breath Treatment Program. This is the full program that involves a five day detox system using our Balance Range of products to increase the pH of the mouth to discourage the bad breath bacteria, clean the biofilms where the bad breath bacteria are living, and implement lifestyle changes to avoid excess proteins in your diet that the bad breath bacteria are seeking to break down to volatile sulphur compounds. After completing the initial detox program, you then start our Probiotic Maintenance stage that continues the cleaning you learnt during the detox, but now adds the power of KForce K12 Probiotics to help balance and maintain the mouth and throat bacteria. 2. Mouth Harmony Program. If you feel your breath is really not that bad and you do not want to undertake the full program, you can still undertake the Detox program.
