AUSTRALIAN BREATH CLINIC RECOGNISED FOR OUTSTANDING ENTERPRISE AT THE AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS AWARDS, 2006

Sydney, 2 November 2006 - The Australian Breath Clinic this week celebrated its success at the inaugural Australian Business Awards, 2006 as it scooped the prize for best Enterprise in the Micro-Business category. The Australian Business Awards attracted in excess of 500 entries nationally.  

Awarded for their initiative and willingness to undertake bold new ventures in the area of oral health care, the Australian Breath Clinic were also recognised for their commercial growth and success, viewed as outstanding given the size of their business.

Based in Sydney, the Australian Breath Clinic was founded by dental associate and Australia’s foremost Bad Breath Expert, Dr Geoffrey Speiser in early 2005. After 25 years as a practicing dentist Dr Speiser had noted a marked increase in the number of clients suffering from the embarrassing, but common problem of bad breath. What became apparent was that sufferers were struggling to access the provision of expert advice, and the idea for the Australian Breath Clinic was born.

Dr Geoffrey Speiser has since treated over 5,000 patients at his Edgecliff practice (and via the clinic’s website). The first of its kind in Australia, the Australian Breath Clinic is also the exclusive Australian distributor of KForce, the only probiotic treatment for the long-term prevention of halitosis ever to go to market.
