ABC 720 Perth National Radio April 2007 Dr Speiser spoke to 720 Breakfast’s Eoin Cameron about why we get bad breath. He says that 90% of bad breath cases are the result of a protein breakdown in the bacteria that live in your mouth. The by-products of this will produce foul smelling gases, hence the bad odour. A recent discovery found that a specific friendly bacteria (K12) can encourage and maintain a healthy mouth. When used in conjunction with a special mouthwash you can usually fix the problem with the first treatment. ![]() |
